Transitioning from dorm life to off-campus living was extremely exciting for me. I am an avid foodie, studying Hotel Administration at Cornell University. I currently live with eight other girls in a three story house, which definitely has its pro’s and con’s. For me, having a kitchen that I could stock and have free range of was a serious bonus. However, for some of my housemates and many of my friends, it means microwaveable dinners and lots of dirty dishes. My friend actually burned pasta yesterday. I didn’t even know that was possible.
So, I decided there was an opportunity and a definite need for a little education in the kitchen. That’s where this blog comes in. My goal is to show how easy it is to love your kitchen and eat great food, without breaking the bank or sacrificing too much precious study time.
I’m definitely not opposed to eating out, either. So, I will try to share interesting culinary adventures outside of the kitchen as well.
